The Margaritaville Beach Hotel project is located just a few blocks north of the Jacksonville Beach pier at 715 1st Street North. The property consists of an 8 story, 200,000+ sf, 202 guestroom units, beachfront hotel with 5 levels of guest units above a 3-level parking garage. This full-service hotel will include structured parking, a two-story LandShark restaurant and bar, retail space, Grab and Go store, a pool at grade along with fitness center, an outdoor recreation area with a pool and fire pits and meeting space amenities located on the 4th floor.

The overall design is intended to provide a unique, fun, quality experience for the guests that want to stay in Jacksonville Beach. The unique Margaritaville brand brings a sense of relaxation, comfort and escapism with an overall tropical and nautical flavor. Images of warm woods like the teak tones you find on a sailboat or the warm grays found in driftwood along the beach serve as inspiration for the accent architectural materials along the exterior. Large teak-toned metal picture framing accents group balcony elements providing interest and warmth along the exterior. The custom garage screen in the warm tones mirror driftwood allowing passive ventilation of the garage. The primary exterior material is stucco; bringing in a sense of beachy and local authenticity to the project.

With the “u-shaped” plan, this beachfront hotel offers the majority of guests a stunning ocean view from a variety of balcony types. By varying the balcony designs, it brings interest, variety and new experiences to returning guests. The 4 corner end units are much large suites that offer deeper balconies that wrap around the building providing different seating opportunities fro the guests. The 2 end center suites will offer a spacious 5-fixture bath primed for luxury.
